The Character of God: Omnipotent

People without God and without hope are all around us. They live in our own neighborhoods. Their children attend schools with our kids. We make a mistake when we overlook these to send missionaries to carry the Gospel to the nations of the world. We have a responsibility to win our neighbors to the Lord Jesus. We have taken steps to set up Gospel Bible studies in our homes to reach our community. The program we use is called Christianity Explored. It is a ten-week study that takes folks through the Gospel of Mark, examining the poignant teachings of Jesus as to what it is to become His disciple and to have the hope of eternal life. These Bible studies could take place on a weekday night or they could happen on Sunday evening when other church members are in the evening worship service.
